Reconstruction of Putnam Triangle Plaza Underway

Sunday, March 25, 2018

The reconstruction of the Putnam Triangle Plaza will yield a beautiful new open space for local residents, double the amount of planted areas and twice as many trees. Public safety improvements include enhanced lighting and improved sight lines through the plaza from Fulton Street. There will also be a water fountain, plentiful seating, new bike racks and more.

Alternative locations for popular and free FAB EVENTs, including FAB FLICKS, JAZZ966 at the PLAZA, and CONCERTS FOR KIDS will be announced soon. Stay connected and informed by following FAB FULTON on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Or sign up for the FAB newsletter.

There will be distruptions while this popular public space is a construction site. The construction is managed by the NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC), who is reponsible for issuing notifications about any distruptions and controlling site conditions.  For any construction-related inquiries, contact the DDC Resident Engineer directly:  by email at: or call the Field Office at 718-638-1010

FAB will continue to share information as it becomes available with the businesses and property-owners around the site, as well as the local community of residents, institutions and other stakeholders.

FAB has an eMail list for people interested in updates on this project. To have your eMail address added to the list, sign up on the FAB FULTON HomePage.
