The odds are good you’ve passed by Kush Café at 17 Putnam Avenue and never noticed it. Nestled in the middle of the short, cramped block, near the triangular corridor where Fulton, Grand and Cambridge Place intersect, the restaurant, which opened in 2005, is known for its upscale, French-influenced pan-African dishes.
