FAB Flicks: "The Princess Bride"

The "Backlot" at Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center
650 Fulton St.
Fort Greene, Brooklyn
Thursday, August 9, 2018 - 8:30pm

Summer just wouldn’t be the same without an outdoor film or two, and Fulton Street draws a movie-loving crowd! Once again, FAB Fulton has teamed up with BAMcinématek, for a FAB Flicks slate of cinematic favorites from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Come out to our new “backlot” location outdoors at Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center (650 Fulton) to sing along, laugh, cry and recite those famous lines from movies you know and love! Join us Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 8:30p for our third feature of the FAB Flicks series: The Princess Bride (1987), 98 min., directed by Rob Reiner.

A grandfather (Peter Falk) reads a book to his ill grandson (Fred Savage). He assures a romance-weary boy that the book has much more to deliver than a simpering love story, including but not limited to fencing, fighting, torture, death, true love, giants, and pirates. Also starring Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, and Robin Wright.

Arrive early for music, fun giveaways and special treats! Feel free to bring over takeout or snacks from one of the many FAB businesses in the area. Free Admission.
