Summer might be winding down, but the food industry's just ramping up! Fort Greene’s first EAT GREENE street festival will take place on Saturday, September 16th. This community event, led by long-time Fulton Street purveyor The Greene Grape, will be a one-day celebration of the neighborhood, hosted in partnership with the Fulton Area Business Alliance and Interboro Spirits & Ales.

In addition to sampling tasty menu items from local Fort Greene restaurants like No. 7, attendees will enjoy delicious foods and beverages from our local maker community. The event will offer demonstrations and tastings from the pros at Greene Grape Provisions, including a mozzarella making demo, and a pig roast with esteemed chef Kenny Hockert and talented Head Butcher, Lena Diaz! FAB Fulton will provide fun extracurricular activities such as a glass bead making demonstration with Urban Glass, free temporary tattoos by Electric Lotus Tattoo, double dutch instruction and performances by Ms. K's Swagga jumpers, and various children's games!

The Eat Greene street festival will take place on S. Portland Ave. between Lafayette Ave. and Fulton St., right between the Barclays Center and Fort Greene Park. Join the fun from 12 noon to 7pm!
